Learning is first; The acquisition of facts. These facts can include the time inwhich an event occurred, the relevant actors which participated in the event, and the processes, that lead up to and occurred during the event, and finally the effect of the event on other events. This basic structure can be applied to history, literature, chemistry, mathematics, language, in fact all areas of studies. Learning is secondly; The taking of all facts, acquired in the first step, and then building relationships between these, seemingly disparate, events and viewing each event from the perspective of each other event. Learning is thirdly; Taking the relationships gleaned in the second step, based on the facts acquired in the first step, and building models of "similar modalities". It is from these "similar modalities" that the phrase, "history always repeats itself" comes from. These models provide the means to create conclusions on other events without the event actually having been observed. (Analysis and Synthisis) Learning is fourthly; The application of the models, developed in the previous step, to your understanding of the underlying currents and occurrences of worldly events at the macro and micro level. It is this final step that determines, in a large degree, how successful you will be in the material world. That is: The application of aquired Knowledge towards the reaching of Your goals.** Attach meaning to what you are learning in your academic pursuits. When it is kept in mind that what you are learning will contribute to the effort of reaching your goals, each thing you learn will inherently have meaning attached. If you encounter something that has no meaning, set it aside as it may have future use. Don't be afraid to set aside those things that have no meaning for you. Decide Judiciously. Repel and reject those ativities and events that are nocuous towards the furtherment of your academic pursuits. Avoid outside forces that would make your efforts noisome. Consider your classroom to be omnipresent. The facts learned from a book or in the class, should be tested outside, in the real world. The connection to what you learned "in the box" should be taken out of the box and used in your everyday adventures. Academic pursuit should be perennial. Once started, the quest for knowledge should be without end, and a lifetime endevour. While academics are only a tool to be mastered and to be used to reach one's goals; Amaster understands that the quest is eternal. Question everything and everyone. Do not let anything or anyone define your foundation. Trust facts presented by those who are trustworthy, but verify. Consider anyone or anything that is offended by questioning is questionable. The relationship between learning and reason are recursive. The more you learn, the greater your potential for reasoning, the greater your ability to reason, the more fruitful your academic pursuits will be. Always remember; The fulfillment of your goals and dreams are the reason for your academic pursuits. discovery, finding, finding out, determining, detection, spotting, catching, recognition, determination, distinguishment, locating, disclosure, exposure, revelation, uncovering, exhumation, excavation, bringing to light, find, strike, lucky strike, accidental-chance discovery, casual discovery, serendipity, rediscovery, invention.(1) Serendipity is realization that seemingly isolated events have an underlying connection. Seemingly irrelevant facts that you learn along your academic quest will reveal their connection to the greater whole of your experience. Be tenacious in your quest for higher education. Discard those events that would derail you from your quest. Be aggressive in your studies and the verification of those things that you been learned. Put up your collar to the wind and keep moving forward. Your goals are waiting. Have unbounded enthusiasm for your quest of academic excellence. The jewels to be found along the way are their own reward. And your pot of gold at the end of the rainbow of education will be sitting on top of the achievement of your goals. As you grow in your education there are facts that will no longer be relevant or proved false. Discard these vestiges without fan fair. Continually moving forward on the quest. The most pervasive expression of the universe is wonderment and is the key to exploration and discovery. Echo the universe and allow the common thread of your quest to be wonderment. Let the natural human yearning to know more and exploration be your motivation for learning. Let your guide be the yearning for truth. Let truth be the guide on your quest. Be zealous in your efforts to further your academic studies. The more you contribute the greater your rewards.

**Note: The above description of Learning was laid out in a linear fashion. However, the four steps, and the processes within those steps do not necessarily have to, although they often do, take place in a linear fashion.
The process of Learning can, and often is, a nonlinear process. This nonlinear aspect of Learning creates the connectedness between apparently desperate events. And leads to a greater intellectual understanding of the world, the events that occur in the world, and the interconnectedness between those events. This interconnectedness is physically manifest in the neural connections that are made in the brain during the process of Learning. It is as if, the brain is attempting to make a model of the world, within it's own physical hemisphere(s). Providing the user, You, with an ever largening library of models and tools and options with which to provide solutions during Your life. The more information You provide for your brain the fuller and richer your model will be.
