Your Attitude is Your Melody as You go through life. Attitude is the underlying Accompaniment of music on which You set all of Your life experiences. Attitude sets the Tone for how You Dance through Your Day. The Tempo of Your Attitude doesn't always have to be Rockin' and Allegro. Sometimes it can be Mellow and Adagio. It can be Jazzy or Folksy, it can even have the Blues. Your Attitude adds the Dynamics to experience. Does Your Attitude Play You? Or do You Play Your Attitude? Your Attitude is like an Instrument. In order to Play Music, You have to learn the Instrument. Study the characteristics of the Instrument and learn what it can do. Practice and learn the Fundamentals. Stick with it and be the Master of Playing Your Attitude. Use Your Attitude to Espressione color the Your World with Gusto As Music can tame the savage beast, Your Attitude can add colorful Cantata to Your life. Your Attitude can also change the outlook of others. It has that powerful of an effect. You can let others hear Your Music. In this way You project and share Your Attitude. How many times at a party have You seen when someone walks in and the whole place just picks up. Or when someone is sad and a person with a Positive Attitude, in a Legato mood, just changes that person's frown to a smile. It's Attitude Baby! It's that powerful. Your Attitude can be disarming and at the same time engaging. It can be a part of, and at the same time Staccato. The Consonance of Your Attitude can smooth out the life's sharp edges. Why not do it! Everyone wins! Create a little Harmony with your Attitude. Invite others into Your band. Let the members of Your band play one harmonious Chord. Let the Theme of Your Attitude be inclusive. So that the Accompaniment of others can contribute toYour Music and the Music of the world. Those who wish to play in a Dissonance way, let play in their own band. Not everyone wants to create the same Phrase. "No Big" It is not Obbligato, to always play music with others. and a solo is good too, as it adds to the diversity of the Orchestra. Solos are an expression of who You are, and it's a good time to practice too... Just remember joining along with the Melody of others makes You part of the Orchestra of Family and Friends. But always be the Root of Your own Attitude.

Attitude is a part of you. But it is not you.
You are still the same person whether you are sad or happy.
You haven't changed, but your Attitude has. You can have either a frown or a
smile. You can show a angry fist or give a friendly wave . You can use a pencil
or a pen. You can dig a trench with a shovel or a hoe. Learn to play a guitar
or choose the piano. You choose the tool, create an extension of yourself and
accomplish your goal(s). Your Attitude is a permanent extension of yourself,
but it is just a tool like any other. It can be molded, shaped and developed
into a tool to help you attain the goals you aspire to. Learn to use and play
your Attitude, don't let your Attitude play you. Remember, you have control
of your Attitude, like you have control of your hands. You set the tone, pace
and melody of your Attitude. You are in control.
Track
those things that make you happy, the things that are fun.
Make a list of them if you like. Have them accessible and close
at hand so you can dive into them on a moments notice. They can be a hobby,
reading a book, going for a walk, talking with friends, listening to your favorite
music or even watching your favorite TV show. (Like Kim
Possible!) Or they can be great memories that you hold dear. Then if you
feel down, you can seek them out and make
use of them to change your Attitude. You will find that even little things
that you enjoy can turn your whole Attitude around, get you out of that funk
and back on track.
Totally choose your friends with your
best interest in mind.
While to be a Responsible member of society you should be willing
to lend advice, direction or even an occasional shoulder to cry on, you are
not Responsible for propping up those who only want to bring others down. Ultimately
you are Responsible for one person and one person only... You! Those who only
want to hurt and bring others down, do them a favor and direct
them to professional help. Direct them to a school counselor, their family
or clergy. Your life is not to be a burden, and you are not obligated to take
on the burden of others. Choose
Friends and associates that have the same positive Attitude that you want. Your
positive Attitude will attract
those with a positive Attitude. Seek out those people who are positive and happy.
Integrate Change:
Life is all about Change.
Change is opportunities and adventures. Change is exciting like
music that comes in mellow, than with the crash of the drums and the explosion
of a guitar chord... Rocks Out! A positive Attitude rides with and yet
above the music of life no matter what the change in tempo. A positive Attitude
does not mean ignoring those areas in your life that you would like to improve
or Change. Consider them opportunities
for change, to make yourself better, let your Attitude towards those things
you would like to change be Determination. With Determination your Attitude
becomes the tool you use to make yourself better.
Tests and studies have shown a positive
Attitude has not only found to be beneficial during recovery
from injury or illness, but is also believed to help prevent
illness from occurring in the first place. Some things we can't change as
fast as we like, like a job
that is un-fulfilling, but keep a positive Attitude, 'cause it will make
your time spent there more enjoyable. You will be able to take advantage of
the learning opportunities that any situation presents, and another job will
come along. Work to live, don't live to work.
Useful Tips on keeping
your positive Attitude, no
matter what, are plenty.
Have Fun, Fun and more Fun! Is
a great one. It rains, but the rain just rolls off your shoulders. Was that
so
hard? Look at every situation, you can, in a positive
way. You wanted to go outside hiking, but it is supposed to rain all day
today. Well, have fun indoors instead, with family or friends or both. You can
have as much fun doing things that are unplanned as doing those things that
were. A positive Attitude does not mean going "full guns" all the
time, sometimes a positive Attitude is just enjoying
a calm, relaxing moment. If you find you misplaced your positive Attitude,
find
ways to get it back, strengthen and reinforce your positive Attitude.
Don't worry about the
future, the future will take care of itself.
Keep moving forward,
dance over the bumps or stomp them down. It's up to you. Set your goals, build
your skills and keep your eye on the ball. The future will reward you. Now,
take your next step Now. Make it easy, make it small, make it fun! "No
Big" Hit the "A" key on your keyboard... See how easy
that was... That's all it takes... "Nothin to it but to do it." You
can use affirmations
to secure your positive Attitude.
