Eating a balanced diet is important to good Health. Balanced means getting Foods from all the Food Groups. And all Foods in moderation. Foods should be natural, or as natural as possible, with little or no artificial preservatives or ingredients. Junk food with high amounts of refined sugar, corn syrup and other sugar derivatives should be avoided if not eliminated all together. Eating foods high in saturated fats (and especially trans-fats) is like hanging a ten pound weight around your heart.
