Kim Possible Kimness - The Tool Kit

A friend of the author, let's call him Ed always said,

"Work Hard and Play Hard".

There must have been something to Ed's little saying.
He was raised in a small steelmill town in western Pennsylvania.
His father drove a bread truck to feed the family.
Ed was able to attend a university in western New York and went on to earn advanced degrees.
When the author last saw Ed he was working for MITRE
(Massachusettes Institute of Technology Research and Engineering)
MITRE was spun off from MIT before Ed went to work for them,
MITRE is one of the elite think tanks in the world.
 

Ed had hit on something... Put another way:

Whether at work or play, put as much as you can into what you do,
and aggressively play as hard as you work.

I think I'd like to go back home
And take it easy
There's a woman that I'd like to get to know
Living there

Everybody seems to wonder
What it's like down here.

I gotta get away from this day-to-day running round,

And sometimes it's nice to just kick off your shoes,

kick off your cares,

put on those pj's and slippers,

take it easy,

and go back home.
