quantum entanglement
Is "spooky action at a distance". - Einstein
Quantum Entanglement describes how one object
influences another object
without being connected to or located within the same
local space
(or time).
Quantum Entanglement is possible due to nonlocality.
Nonlocality is the condition of an object to communicate
it's state, functions, characteristics and it's information
with out regard to time-space.
Experiments in particle physics show that one
particle
will act (i.e. change it's spin) in concert with another
particle that is across the room or across the world.
This affect also, and not only, influences the attributes (i.e. spin as above), but can also affect the physical characteristics of the distant object(s).
This is not fiction. Scientists are now working
on quantum computers that, using photons, exchange information through
Quantum Entanglement.
Interesting; Is that due to Quantum Entanglement
the observations of the observer (the scientist
lets say)
influences the outcome
of the experiment and what is ultimately observed and measured.
That the results of the experiment and the scientist cannot be separated and
are in fact, entangled. (oops)
This disproves
that the notion in classical physics of "local realism" that;
objects have their physical and characteristic properties before and whether
or not they are observed.
The reality of Quantum Entanglement has the
profound affect of proving that
we shape our universe as a consequence of our interaction
with it.
(Don't worry even Einstien didn't like it.
Just don't ignore it like he did.)
