Middleton High School is having it's career day.
While Kim is rushing to the International Relations Mentor, She
trips over the vacuum cleaner of Joe the janitor. Mr. Barkin sees
them together and signs Kim up with Joe for the week.
 Joe:
"Lesson number one young lady. These devices are dangerous."
Kim: "So not the drama.
I'm totally fine Mr. ... ah..."
Joe: "Call me Joe.
Ready to begin training?"
Kim: "Training?"
Joe: "I have little
time and much to teach you."
Kim: "hu? Oh, No.
I was rushing to International Studies."
Later in the Middleton High Janitorial Office.
Joe begins to teach Kim about the vacuum cleaner.
 Joe:
"Teachings will center on this."
Kim: "A vacuum cleaner?"
Joe: "The Vachrometer.
You will know it inside and out."
Kim: "Fun."
Joe: "Starting at the
fore, the output valve, know the unique flanging."
Later at Cheer Practice...
 Joe:
"You missed our appointment."
Kim: "Really... Well I'm kind of busy right
now. How about we make it up later?"
Joe: "Not Later. The
time is now, the subject is the Vachrometer. There is still much
to learn."
 Kim:
Joe... I get that you are trying to help me but…"
Joe: "Focus your thoughts.
You must be able to field strip the Vachrometer in battle conditions."
Kim: "Ok, see, I know
that the fight against dirt is like a battle."
Joe: "You are
learning. So the main output valve is connected to the filter compression
tank with a bypass located in the gear shifting transmuter."
Later, after Joe's latest lesson on the Vachrometer,
which was cut short by Kim, Kim gets a call from Wade that Dr. Drakkin's
weather machine is causing a giant killer storm up north in Canada.
In Canada; Kim and Ron are caught off guard and captured by Shego
and tied to a lighting rod. Joe, the janitor, shows up in a hovercraft
and frees them using a laser knife.
 Kim:
"Joe?"
Joe: "There's not much time. I'll explain
on the way."
Kim: " Ok... Really feel like I am missing
something here. Is this because I gooned on our last meeting?"
Joe: "Let's
just hope you learned what you need for this assignment."
Kim: "What assignment?"
Joe: "Stopping Drakken's
Vachrometer."
Kim: "You mean his
weather machine thingy?"
Joe: "Yes. Vachrometer.
That's what I said."
 Kim:
"The vacuum was a model of the weather machine? How do you know
about all this? You’re a janitor!
Joe: "That was my
cover."
Ron: "Good janitor disguise. "
Joe: "What disguise. This is the uniform of a Top Secret
Canadian Spy Organization!"
Ron: "You're a spy? "
Joe: "A Canadian Spy. Eah... "
 Kim:
"Why didn't you just tell me?"
Joe: "I thought I
was painfully obvious."
Kim: "Oh."
Joe: "As the foremost Drakken
expert you were a natural for this mission."
Kim: "But I don't
know anything about weather machines!"
Joe: "That's why I
was sent to train you."
Kim: "Ohhhhh... My
bad."
Later, back in the Janitorial Office, after Kim
has foiled Drakken's plan.
 Kim:
"Well you know... Thanks for training me. I wish I had been a
better student."
Joe: "When it came down to it…
You had the right stuff."

The opposite of Innocence is presumption.
Embracing your Innocence provides the advantage of
knowing that you don't know the facts,
and not going into a situation with misconceptions that can be damaging.
Presumption limits our options and the opportunity to learn new things.
Innocence presumes nothing and provides the opportunity,
the space, that allows us to grow.
Kim thought that fate had set Her up with
a mentor of a career that She had no interest in.
And certainly with the strong scholastic effort and good grades to match,
Kim has Her sites
set on a career that requires much higher academic skills than the janitorial
services.
But what She missed was that behind the trappings of a janitor, Joe had
much more to offer.
In fact, behind the trappings Joe had the background and knowledge to
contribute to Kim's most important goal in life... To save the world.
Opportunities come in many forms, in many
guises.
Which brings us to the other side of the coin.
Many times some will come portraying themselves as friends and say they
wish to help us.
When, in fact, they are not friends at all and only wish to hurt or use
us.
Let your Innocence protect you from making presumptions.
Innocence notices everything and accepts what is there,
not what we wished was there.
Innocence enables you to keep your "Eyes Wide Open" as life
unfolds before you.

Kim is crushing on Josh Mankie. On Her way to Latin
class She walks all the way to the other end of the school just
to pass by Josh's locker. One day Josh is about to ask Kim out on
a date when the bell rings for class. As Josh heads off towards
gym class so he won't be late. Kim falls to the floor in frustration.
When Josh comes back to grab a book he forgot, Kim embarrassed at
being on the floor pretends She is tying Her shoe and then, totally
embarrassed crawls away.
Dr. Drakken tired of all his schemes to take over
the world being foiled by Kim Possible, studies "teen magazines"
to try to figure out what makes Kim tick. He finds out that teens
are especially vulnerable to becoming embarrassed. He devises a
plan and sprays Kim with the pollen from the rare Amazonian Aurora
Orchid, which causes people to disappear, bit by bit, when they
become embarrassed.
 Dr.
Drakken : "Embarrassment
is the soft white under-belly of the teen ego!"
 Dr.
Drakken sprays Kim with the pollen from the flower.
Later... Kim sees Josh in the lower level of the
mall. Turning around and turning back and turning around again She
eventually falls down the escalator falling over Josh and ripping
his shirt. The girls with Josh start to laugh and Kim becomes embarrassed.
Kim runs into Club Banana and sees that She is
beginning to disappear from embarrassment.
Kim goes out on a date with Josh and as embarrassing
things continue to happen to Her more and more of Her disappear.
Ron comes back with an Amazonian Orchid to use
as an antidote, and by the end of the date Kim is whole again.
 Josh:
"Come on. What's the big secret."
Kim: "Ok, you promise
you won't laugh?"
Josh: "Ya, cross my heart."
Kim: "I like to put
marshmallows on hot dogs... OK Are you happy now?"
Josh: "Marshmallows?
Are you for real? That's like totally embarrassing."
Kim: "Ya, but I can
live with it ."
Josh: "Do you know what this
night has been?"
 Kim:
"Yes... PERFECT!"

When you are Innocent:
The inevitable embarrassing situations that come with life
will not cause you to loose stride.
Kim's day was filled with one embarrassing
moment after another.
Yet in spite of the embarrassing situations She found Her Self in,
not to mention disappearing bit by bit,
She did not let that deter Her from enjoying her date with Josh.
Embarrassment can be caused by many things.
Saying something you shouldn't, doing something you shouldn't,
or accidents such as tripping over a curb or
spilling a drink or acting on incomplete or erroneous information.
Some things you will realize are embarrassing at the time they are happening
and others you won't realize are embarrassing till after the situation
is long past.
And when you reflect on those events you will see that it was all "No
Big".
Let your Innocence buffer you from even
the embarrassing situations that you
realize at the moment as well as those you don't realize till after they
happened.
Whether they are in the present or in the past your Innocence protects
you from the jeers
of others and allows you to enjoy, if you choose, your embarrassing moment
with those who can enjoy them with you.
Let your laughter amplify theirs and your
enjoyment will be shared.
Your laughter will be disarming and all that will be left is sharing in
the Joy.
Share with others the Joy of your natural Kimness.
By the end of the date, in spite of all
the embarrassment,
Kim acknowledges Her date with Josh was perfect; with
all the embarrassing moments having been forgotten.

Kim convinces Ron to get a new hairstyle, even
though he doesn't really want one.
 Ron:
"KP, are you sure about this?"
Kim: "Ron. Fansua is an artist. Getting him to make a house call
is like... epic!"
 Mrs.
Dr. Possible: "Kimy,
why is Ron getting a hair cut in our kitchen?"
Kim: "Ah, 'cause
he ferociously needs one."
Mrs. Dr. Possible: "Oh! He's really taking a lot off."
Kim: "He'll thank me mom. It's no
big. "
At Middleton High...
 Ron:
"Seniors... Hi.."
Amillia: "Do I know you?"
Ron: "I I I'm Stop Ronable... Ron Stoppable."
Amillia: "That's a very very cool haircut Ron Stoppable."
Ron: "Thanks."
Amillia: "I'll see you LATER."
Ron: "This
haircut rocks!!! Stadium Rocks!"
Later Kim and Ron are in Paris to pick up some
"Le Goop" hair gel for Ron.
 Ron:
"So you're saying I need a new wardrobe to take the hair
to the next level?"
Fransau: "Oh without a question Ronald. The hair, the clothes,
they must harmonize."
Ron: "Done and done Fransau. Merci."
 Ron:
"Bonjour"
The girl passing by throws Ron a kiss.
Kim: "Have these
people never seen hair before!"
Ron: "Somebody's
tweaked."
Kim: "I am not
tweaked.!"
Ron: "You reek
tweak."
 Two
other girls pass by checking Ron out.
Girls: "Bonjour!"
Kim: "Ok,
Yes. And do you know why? I find it very..."
Ron (pointing
to the girls): "Ya
baby, that's what I'm talkin' about!"
That night Kim is in Her bedroom gives Ron a call.
 Kim:
"How can Ron not be home?"
 Dr.
Possible: "You and Ronald all squared away?"
Kim: "Not.
I can't even reach him. Dad. Did you every try to change a Friend
to make them better?"
 Dr.
Possible: "Well not a human. But back in grad school there
was this lab rat 'Pinky Joe Curly Tail' I called him. Poor little
guy was always running mazes for those psych majors. How I hated
them."
Kim: "Dad,
What does this have to do with me?"
Dr. Possible: "Well it seemed to me that Pinky Joe Curly
Tail was just so helpless. I constructed a very tiny cyber-tronic
battle suit."
Kim: "For the
rat?"
 Dr.
Possible: "No more mazes for him. Oh in retrospect, giving
him a working plasma blaster probably went to far. Blew up half
the science building. Rampaged across campus... Oh... Pinky Joe..."
Kim: "So.
This creating a monster thing runs in the family."
 Kim:
"If I told you the Ron trouble was rising. Would you come
back with a story about a psycho rat?"
Dr. Possible:
"No. But I might work in an 'I told you so."
The next day back at school, Ron keeps his stride.
Later: Kim and Ron are battling Senior Senior Senior
and Junior. Kim is avoiding the "spinning tops of doom",
which Senior got at Ron's suggestion. Ron is trying to prevent Junior
from firing missiles at Middleton. Suddenly he sees himself in the
mirror.
 Ron:
"Look at me. What have I become?"
 Rufis
jumps on Ron's head and messes up his hair.
 Ron:
"My Ronness! I feel it. Yaa."
Ron disarms the missiles and saves Kim from the
spinning tops of doom.
 Kim:
"Never Never tell anyone to go out and buy spinning tops
of doom. You've got to be careful about what you say Ron. I mean
one little thing..."
Ron: "Like you need a new hair style?"
Kim: "Ya...
Like that. Sorry. "

Sometimes we will look at a Friend and
wonder,
"Why doesn't she do this or why doesn't she try that?"
Or she could be so much better if only she would change this about herself.
Kim has be best Friends with Ron ever
since Pre-K.
Plenty of time to know a person really, really well.
But no matter how long you 'know' a person, you can never ever
ever
know every nuance, every aspect of what is inside that person.
Everyone changes, little by little, day
by day, everyone grows and changes.
Sometimes the changes will manifest in a small way, other times in a big
way.
That's what makes Friends so special.
That you can share and enjoy good times with your Friends over a long
period of time.

Kim and Ron coming back
from a mission show up towards the end of elective class selection...

"Home-EC. In can't believe we got stuck with
such a lame elective."

Kim:
"Where is everybody?"
Ron: "We are everybody."

Mr.
Barkin: "Listen up people.
The regular Home-EC teacher retired six years
ago. Nobody noticed till this morning.
Ah... Where is the class?"
|
Kim and
Ron: "PRESENT"
|
|
 Mr
Barkin: "Right. The first thing every chef needs are
the tools of the trade. Your helmut
and trenching shovel."
Ron: "Uhh... Mr. B. Question."
Mr. Barkin: "If you must Stoppable."
Ron: "Uh, Would you mind... could I ask you, you know
um, learn to cook?" |

....
Mr Barkin: "...It was thirty
clicks southeast of Ieliy."

 |
Mr Barkin:
"Where else would you learn the slop-jockey's
art?"
Ron: "Well when I was eight my mother got me
a Granny Crocket Quicky Bake Mixer and Oven Set."
Mr Barkin: "REALLLY..."
Ron: "You know I don't mean to brag, but my
carmel turtle brownies were a real hit with all my friends."

 Mr.
Barkin:
"Alright granny's boy. Let's see what you can do."

Mr Barkin: "Ummm
Impressive Stoppable.
POSSIBLE! Let's get cookin'!"
Kim: "No
Big"

Mr. Barkin: "Maybe a more competent
student can tell you what you're doing wrong... STOPPABLE!"
Ron: "Be glad to Mr. B." |
 Ron:
"You know, for someone who can disarm a doomsday device,
you seem to have major mixer issues."
Kim: "Ron. This machine hates me!"
Ron: "It senses your fear."
 Ron:
"Watch me -
Let the beating of the blades and
the beating of your heart merge together. You
and the mixer become one."
Later, on a mission, Kim finds Herself fighting with Shego to protect
Granny Crocket's cookie recipe.
Shego catches Kim with a kick and
sends Her over a railing, hangin over a large mixing bowl.
Shego then drops Kim down into the large bowl of cookie doe.
While Kim is being sucked into the
beating blades towards certain doom She has a vision of Ron.
Ron: "Kim. Do not fear the mixer.
Let the beating of the blades and the beating of your heart merge
together.
You and the mixer, become One."

Instead of fighting the
current in the bowl. Kim swims towards the beating blades
and
dives down into the mixture. Thinking Kim is gone, Shego raises
the blades only to find
Kim hanging on to them. Kim releases Her grip and flies at
Shego
taking her down with a Flying Horseman kick.

Back in Home-EC class, Kim aproaches
the mixer anew.
Ron: "Hey not to shabby KP! I'm see'n
major improvement."
Kim: "No Big. I've got a great tutor."
|
Everyone has talents to excel at one activity
or another.
Be it cheerleading, academics, football, chess, tennis, cooking, etc.
Not everybody is good at everything.
And there are many things you have never tried before.
Innocence is a fact of not having experienced something before.
Throughout your life you will do many
new things and have many
opportunities to experience your Innocence.
Embrace those experiences which are new to you as you embrace your Innocence.
With around half of Her teenage years
under Her belt;
Kim has had the opportunity to experience many things.
And through Her hard work and dedication She has excelled at many of them.
But cooking was a new experience to Kim.
She had no basis for understanding the nuances and finesse required to
do the job right.
Accepting that Ron had the experience, Accepting Her own Innocence,
Kim was able to open up to a new experience with helpful guidance from
Ron.
Pride and ego are the enemies of Innocence,
and they cripple the
experience and enjoyment of learning new things.
Push them aside and let your Innocence shine through.
Do not fear Innocence.
Let the gentle strength of Innocence and
the beating of your heart become one.
Let your Innocence give you the strength to learn and conquer new experiences.
Approach all Things
with Innocence and Wonder,
